Spencer and I met on a group outing in October of 1994. I remember instantly thinking how dreamy looking he was and spent the whole night trying to in such a cool manner get him to ask me out. I must of have done something right because shorty after we were a couple and I was smitten.
It's been 16.5 years of marriage, 3 kids, a whole lots of years of schooling, some hard time and lots of incredible memories we've shared together; there's no one else I would want to make this journey through life with.
Spencer makes me laugh like no one else can and pulls out the romantic card when I least expect it.
One day while I was working out at the gym a slow song came on my Ipod. It threw me a bit and I tried to figure where it could have come from since it did not have the upbeat work your butt of tempo that is required for a good work out. Then it hit me, a couple of weeks before Spencer was playing a song and sort of singing it to me, saying honey this is our song. It was our song. Every time I hear that song now I feel loved.
I love watching you play with our kids.
I love spending time with just you, talking and being together.
I love how hard you work and bless our family.
I love that you never complain.
I love that you have passion for architecture.
I love watching you jump around the Hoo doos like young chap.
I love hearing you teach our children the gospel.
I love that you think and act like I'm the best wife ever.
I love your silly gaming moods that make me laugh like I'm 16 again.
I love that you're willing to try new things.
I love you never criticizing my cooking and loudly proclaiming how delicious it is when I've listened to whiny boys proclaim the opposite.
I love you!
