1. It's been awhile since I did of post full of randomness, thought it was about time to share some more only problem is I can't remember all the fun things I had to share.  I guess it will have to wait for another day.

What I've been up to.

I've been looking at all the pictures stored on my computer and discs wondering what to do with them.  I wanted to start scrapbooking again - I went digital.  It's quick, simple and easy. Just what I like.  Can't wait to get them printed off

Another Year Older

 Friday this kid turned 11.  Like every mother I am lamenting the fact that he is getting older way faster than I would like.  Nolan is just an all around great kid; one that every mother would want.  He is kind and selfless, funny and enjoyable, athletic and musical. 

2 men on Horse, 6 boys dropped off in the middle of no where = a whole lot of fun.

FYI Nolan had 5 girl friend and his friends named off everyone of them. 

Another Beautiful Day

I guess since we didn't have much of a summer, it has decided to come now, and we will take it.

My kids love Writing-On-Stone.  I wish it was just a hop, skip and a jump away so we could explore the Hoodoos whenever we want but alas this is not the case. 

So much for kids with an abundance of energy to do out there.  We climbed the Hoodoos, chilled at the park then headed down to the beach.  We thought they would just dig in the sand, but they had different ideas and all the kids rode home wet and happy.

We even made a friend along the way.

7 weeks - yesterday

See this cute diaper shirt, the kid wearing it totally fits it's slogan. 

Life at our house has changed. 

There is a new sheriff in town. 

But, he is so cute, sweet and cuddly; we'll gladly take the changes - sleep deprivation and all.

This is what happens when your husband goes away for 4 days

 My parents yard is home to some of the greatest trees grown especially for little boys to climb; I firmly believe that boys are meant to climb trees.  Unfortunately this is sometimes the result. 

Jarom is lucky in his grandma, I would have let him suffer a day or two before I finally broke down and took him in for an x-ray; but grandma insisted and away we went.  At one point all 3 boys were crying in the van and I looked over at my mom and thought how very lucky I was to have her around.

Jarom was a totally trouper and secretly a little excited to have a broken arm and be getting a cast.

Walking Thru Indian Battle

Thursday was way to nice of a day to pass up.  The kids were activity free, Spencer and I were activity free.  It was the beginning of a perfect evening.

We called up my parents and met down at the river bottom for some supper and then a little stroll.

The fall foliage was spectacular.

The river was full of rocks wanting to be skipped.

Barrett spent the evening cosy in his car seat.

I love fall and all the smells, sounds and colors that accompany it. 

Happy Birthday Joelle

 This is Joelle.  She's my BBF, Kindred Soul, whatever you want to call it.  She is awesome.  I was her young woman's leader in Winnipeg, it was sad to leave her.  I was beyond delighted when I found out she was coming to the U of L to pursue her dream of becoming a teacher.

It was her birthday a bit ago. She came over.  I made Brownies, so we could celebrate.  They were undercooked, a tad raw.  She still ate them like they were the best thing she had ever tasted.  She has good manners.

For her present Nolan taught her how to play Smoke on the Water and they played together. 

They are cool.
