Tweety Bird

Nolan found this little bird and tried to nurture it back to health. It had a broken wing; Nolan dug worms for it to eat and took care of it for a long time before putting it somewhere it could fly away. When he went back the next day it was gone; he was pretty happy that his bird was all"better". I didn't have the heart to tell him it was probably a tasty supper for a four legged creature.
Nolan is going to save the world. He has big plans when he grows up to save the sea turtles and other marine animals. Every time we read a new book about an endangered animal he decides that when he is older he is going to save them... that is of course, when it is the off season of the professional hockey team he will be playing for.
